The knock sensor is screwed into your C6 Corvette's engine block or cylinder head and is used to detect engine knock or detonation. The information is relayed to the ECM/PCM (computer) and is used to fine tune ignition timing. A bad knock sensor can cause a faulty code to set and may also cause ignition timing to be skewed. Bolt is not included.
